Carleton First
Building a Stronger Carleton – Conservative Nomination Candidate
Families are being stretched. Small businesses are dealing with rising costs. Rural communities want practical infrastructure and respect. Seniors want stability. Young families want a future they can afford.
Goran Samuel Pesic is running because he believes Carleton needs a sensible Conservative voice focused on everyday priorities, not political theatre.
Carleton is a federal electoral district entirely within the City of Ottawa. The final federal boundaries list a population of 124,416 and cover a broad rural and suburban area across Ottawa’s south, west and rural communities.

The federal boundary includes parts of Ottawa generally south and west of the urban core, with boundary references including Hunt Club Road, Highway 417, Carp Road, Craig Side Road, Highway 7, Highway 416, Barnsdale Road, the Rideau River and other local roads and landmarks.

In community terms, this campaign is focused on Manotick, Greely, Osgoode, Richmond, North Gower, Metcalfe, Kars, Munster, Fitzroy Harbour, Dunrobin, Kinburn, Constance Bay and surrounding rural and village communities.

Carleton Priorities
Clear Priorities. Practical Action. Respect for the People who Pay the Bills.
Disciplined spending, lower costs and policies that help families keep more of what they earn.
Better roads, broadband, practical infrastructure and respect for farms, villages and local decision-making.
Practical action on crime, support for law enforcement and safe neighbourhoods for families and seniors.
More opportunity for young families while protecting villages, farmland and established neighbourhoods.
Less red tape, lower costs and a stronger economy for tradespeople, farmers, entrepreneurs and employers.
Clear priorities, transparent decisions and public office treated as a service, not a status.

private Sector Experience
Goran built and led his own business over the past decade during a period of rising costs, uncertainty and difficult economic conditions.
That experience matters. Families, small business owners, farmers, contractors and local employers cannot spend without limits or pass every problem on to someone else. They must make choices, manage risk, pay bills and take responsibility.
That is the perspective Goran brings to this campaign: respect for people who work hard, appreciation for the pressure households and employers face, and a belief that government should make life easier, not more complicated.
Goran Samuel Pesic is a Manotick resident, business executive and public policy professional who believes public service should be practical, respectful and firmly grounded in the everyday concerns of local residents.
As a first generation Canadian, Goran was raised with a deep appreciation for hard work, personal responsibility, respect for the law, family, community and gratitude for the country that gave his family opportunity.
Professionally, Goran brings more than 30 years of experience in government affairs, defence, national security, international business and economic development. He is the President and CEO of the Samuel Group of Companies in Canada and the United States, and the Chair of the Policy Insights Forum, a respected national and international think tank committed to facilitating meaningful Canadian public policy discussions on strategic over-the-horizon topics.
Goran is seeking the Conservative nomination in Carleton because he believes residents deserve a sensible, hardworking and principled local voice with the experience, judgment and commitment to represent them seriously.
