Defending Canada. Serving Carleton.
Conservative Nomination Candidate for Carleton
For years, Carleton enjoyed strong, stable leadership under Pierre Poilievre. Our representation was effective and well respected because our MP understood our community and the people who called it home.
Now we are left with poor, weak representation from our Liberal MP locally and from our Prime Minister on the global stage. For over a decade the Trudeau/ Carney government has weakened our border and our inland immigration enforcement, failed to fund our defence, and made life more expensive formiddle class families.
Across the country and in our own backyard, families are being stretched. Small businesses are dealing with rising costs, and rural communities want practical infrastructure and respect. Seniors want stability, and young families want a future they can afford.
Goran knows what needs to be done and has the experience Carleton needs. This community is his home. It's where he lives, and where his kids went to school. He understands the legacy of representation that Carleton has enjoyed, and willrestore the representation that Carleton has been missing and deserves. While Pierre Poilievre fights for Canada across the nation, Goran is committed to fighting for Carleton here at home.
Carleton is a federal electoral district entirely within the City of Ottawa. The final federal boundaries list a population of 124,416 and cover a broad rural and suburban area across Ottawa’s south, west and rural communities.

private & Public Sector Experience
Goran is a lifelong Conservative who has spent decades working for a safer, stronger and more prosperous Canada. His involvement in the Conservative movement began with Mike Harris during Ontario’s 1995 Common Sense Revolution campaign. In 2006, he came to Ottawa to work for Stockwell Day at Public Safety under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, helping secure Canada’s borders and keep communities safe.
Like many Canadians, Goran was disappointed to see the Trudeau Liberals reverse much of that progress. He believes Canada needs common sense, stronger public safety and a government that puts Canadians first.
Today, Goran works with Canadian and allied defence companies to strengthen Canada’s security and capabilities. He is also a business owner and entrepreneur who understands the challenges of building businesses, creating jobs and growing the economy.
Goran is President and CEO of the Samuel Group of Companies and Chair of the Policy Insights Forum, a Canadian and international think tank focused on economic, security and public policy challenges.
Goran has never sat on the sidelines. He is ready to put his decades of experience to work protecting communities, strengthening Canada’s economy and building a country where families can work hard, get ahead and look to the future with confidence.
